Print on jewellery boxes

We offer to print your jewellery boxes with either pad printing or embossing.

Tampo printing or pad printing uses a pad and ink to print your logo. For this printing method, a "film" is used as a tool. This printing method can be used on virtually any surface, making the printing method very flexible. The print lies on top of the surface of the box.

When foil printing, we use foil to print your logo. Foil printing provides a high gloss effect that cannot be achieved by other printing methods. At the same time, the printing technique ensures an attractive and opaque print on the material. The foil is placed between a metal cliché, which is heated to about 120 dregrees, and the surface to be printed on. The back of the foil is covered with a wax layer and glue. When heated with the cliché, the wax layer melts and the glue adheres to the surface.

Unfortunately, foil printing has some limitations: both very small details and large, solid areas in a design can be challenging and can cause problems when printed. For example, with foil printing, it is hard to get a sharp image on an uneven surface. On the other hand, foil printing exudes exclusivity from a distance.

To make a tampo print of your logo, we need a film that will be made from your logo.

In tampo printing, the ink is transferred using a silicone pad (tampon). The advantage of using this printing technique is that the pad itself adapts to the surface of the product. This means that it is possible to print on uneven surfaces and hard surfaces. The print colour stays on the product very well.

We recommend a logo width of around 31 mm. This is what we call a standard format film. With a standard format film, your logo can be printed on all our box sizes in the standard range. Remember that the film is a one-off cost. Once you've purchased a film, we'll reuse it every time you place a new order.

In order for us to emboss your logo on our boxes, we need a cliché that is made from your logo. A cliché is a metal plate that is heated and transfers the foil to the product through heat. The cliché is made at the specific size you want your logo printed in. Thus, if you want your logo printed in several different sizes, we need a cliché for each logo size.

Depending on your logo's appearance, we usually recommend a logo width of around 31 mm. We call this a cliché in standard format. With a cliché in standard format, your logo can be printed on all our box sizes in the standard range. The price for a standard cliché is between 700-900 DKK - you can order the cliché here.

Example of cliché for foil printing

Whether you order your goods by phone, mail or webshop, we need you to send us an email with your logo in vector format. Vector graphics allow our graphic designer to customize the logo in different formats, without the details of the logo becoming blurred.  

If you are unable to submit your logo in vector format, our graphic designer can draw-up the logo so that it can be made into a vector file. Our graphic designer has an hourly rate of 600 kr. Depending on the complexity of the logo, this process takes, on average, half an hour.
 
Once the logo is customised and you have approved it, our graphic designer orders your film or cliché from our external supplier. As soon as we receive the film/cliché, we are ready to print your boxes.

There are several options for logo placement. On most jewellery boxes, your logo is centred on the box lid as standard.

Especially on our luxury boxes, the logo is printed as standard inside the jewellery box, on the lid of the box.

Printing on our standard boxes is included in the price . This is with the exception outlet products og if you wish to have foil print on our standard plastic boxes, which is an extra fee.

The delivery time for boxes with logo printing is usually 2-3 weeks from the time the order is received and we have sent an order confirmation.
